A letter from Rochelle
I look forward to hearing from you and exploring the possibility of taking this amazing adventure together.
With love,

Logistics! When booking your flight, it’s best to arrive in Liberia Saturday, April 6th in the afternoon. It’s a $50 2 hour shuttle to the resort from Liberia airport and you want to arrive before dinner at 6pm . The retreat officially ends after breakfast on Saturday, April 13th, so scheduling your flight that afternoon or evening is ideal unless you plan to stay longer in Costa Rica.
***Here’s a testimonial form one of the women who came to the first Qoya Costa Rica retreat.

Travel Documents:
Citizen of the US, Canada, and Panama may enter Costa Rica with a passport that remains valid at least 6 months after your travel date. Identification such as a driver’s license or birth certificate are no longer valid for travel in Costa Rica.
A valid passport allows Canadian, American, as well as most Latin American and European citizens to stay for up to 90 days.
Citizens of other countries may require a visa to enter Costa Rica. Before you go to Costa Rica, please make a copy of your passport, which you will need to carry with you at all times. You should leave your original passport in the safety box at Blue Spirit.
There are no shots or immunizations required to come to Costa Rica.
FLYING IN & OUT OF COSTA RICA
Blue Spirit is situated in Nosara, on the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Depending on your chosen arrival airport in Costa Rica, there are different options to travel onwards to Blue Spirit.
There are two international airports in Costa Rica: Liberia International Airport (LIR) and San Jose International Airport (SJO). Both airports have frequent flights from all over the United States and Canada.
The closest airport to Blue Spirit is LIBERIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LIR). It is only a 2 hours scenic drive from Blue Spirit. Blue Spirit runs group shuttles on Saturdays from / to Liberia Airport.
Currently from the New York City area there are round-trip flights to LIBERIA for $450-$650 (including non-stop on Saturdays on Continental from Newark, NJ). From the west coast the pricing is slightly higher. Jet Blue also started flying here and they have occasional specials!
SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT is an alternative option as sometimes flights from the US or Canada to SAN JOSE can be cheaper or more direct. However, getting to Blue Spirit by road is more costly and takes 4 1/2 hours. An alternative is taking a short plane flight from San Jose to the domestic AIRPORT in NOSARA (the local airport is only 15 minutes from Blue Spirit).
DEPARTURE TAX: There is a departure tax to be paid of $26 at San Jose or Liberia airport when you leave Costa Rica. It can be paid in cash (US$ or costa rican Colones) or with credit card.
